This position is primarily based out of 63 Shaker Road, Albany, NY.Position HighlightsQuality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life convergeAdvancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career developmentOffice Hours: Monday- FridayWhat You Will DoThe Clinical Nurse Educator provides professional development and education services in the clinical setting by assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary clinical practice and supporting them in acquiring the knowledge and skills so that they can competently collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine nursing diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcome.What You Will NeedThis position requires a Certified Diabetes EducatorEducation Requirements:Has completed a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Current New York State licensure as a registered professional nurse. BLS required.Experience Requirements2-5 years current clinical experience. Previous educational experience preferred. National certification and membership in a professional organization preferred and expected within the first year of employmentPay range: $38.70-$52.10Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
