$100-113K, plus bonus The Lead Logistics Analyst, Carrier Management is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing performance of 3rd party common carriers.
The analyst maintains master data and acts as administrator for Domino's Transportation Management and Realtime Visibility systems.
The carrier management analyst supports development of carrier strategy to drive cost and execution efficiency.
The analyst can communicate complex logistics issues to a variety of audiences and engage with cross-functional operational and CoE partners.
Develop and lead a formal carrier management program to optimize performance of 3rd party common carriers.
Define, develop, and maintain KPIs to measure 3rd party carrier performance for inbound transportation network.
Including, but not limited to, on-time pickup and delivery, prime tender acceptance, and TMS and Transportation Visibility Platform update compliance.
Facilitate monthly carrier scorecard performance reviews and manage areas of improvement.
Responsible for Carrier setup within the TMS.
Manage the integrations between TMS, Visibility Platform, and Carriers.
Along with maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting rates and route guides.
Act as administrator for Real-time Transportation Visibility and Appointment Scheduling Platform (FourKites or similar).
Onboard providers and suppliers to platform.
Troubleshoot carrier update compliance.
Support carriers, suppliers, and supply chain centers on dock appointment functionality.
Capture, submit, maintain, and measure freight claims submission and recovery success.
Develop and maintain claims management SOPs.
Support the review and reconciliation of aging reports submitted by 3rd party providers.
Train and assist internal users on 3rd party Emergency Transportation request process used to coordinate management of transportation between supply chain centers for emergency situations.
Manage performance of time critical 3PL ensuring adequate communication across all parties, internally and externally.
Communicate on carrier performance for central inventory management and operations.
Support procurement on QBR planning and transportation team strategies.
Resolve inbound transportation related questions, concerns, and escalations from operations.
Initiate and manage 5 why/carrier corrective actions as necessary.
Serve as IB SME for internal Delivery Hub IT transformation.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
3-5
years of experience in transportation and/or logistics planning, and operations strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of transportation modes, carrier networks, freight rates, and transportation regulations and best practices.
Flexibility to think strategically and perform tactically.
Strong analytical background with ability to develop and interpret complex data to drive execution and decision-making.
Proficiency with data transformation and visualization tools preferred (Tableau, PowerBI, Microsoft suite of programs).
Hands-on application experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) and Real-time Transportation Visibility Platforms (RTTVP) required.
In-depth understanding of logistics' relationships with other parts of the supply chain ecosystem.
In-depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices.
Understanding of API Connectivity & EDI Messaging.
Ability to support 24/7 operations, including support for emergency transportation as needed.
Excellent organization, interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
Strong sense of urgency with a bias towards action.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
Proven ability to achieve targeted results and operational goals.
