Human Resources Reports To:
Director of HR for Houston Position Summary Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
Essential Competencies & Responsibilities Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies) Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc) Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Assist in preparing for and conducting initial orientation to newly hired employees Assist with training and creating training materials for both employees and managers Any other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or higher preferred Medical office experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Safety and Confidentiality - Follows OSHA regulations and the safety guidelines of the Practice.
Follows HIPAA policies and procedures.
Respects and maintains patient confidentiality.

Work Environment Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor clinic office setting with adequate ventilation; Moderate noise (examples:
business office with computers and printers, light traffic) Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with regular working hours; Occasional overtime and travel within Houston may be required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
