The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
This role involves teaching English language skills to non-native speakers, helping them improve their communication abilities and confidence in using the language in various contexts.
Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students at different proficiency levels.
Utilize various teaching methodologies, including Montessori and learning technology, to enhance the learning experience.
Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
Organize activities that promote literacy education and practical language use in real-life situations.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an inclusive environment for all learners.
Experience in private school settings or childcare is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with lesson planning techniques that engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and backgrounds, ensuring each student feels valued and supported.
Proficiency in utilizing learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students, parents, and colleagues.
