Everyday Eatery is a breakfast and lunch restaurant open from 7am-3pm.
Daytime shift! We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team.
Proficient in latte art, and comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced cafe environment.
Base pay is $16 per hour, as the cafe is busy pooled tips takes the pay to $30
an hour We require:
- Open availability from 6:
30 - 3:
30 including Sat & Sun - Must be able to do 4-5 shifts per week - Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant that serves specialty coffee - Strong work ethic, reliable and punctual
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with speed & care - Operate espresso machine with precision and care - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently - Provide friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the overall cafe experience - Follow food safety standards and guidelines - Run food and clear tables as needed Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry as a specialty coffee Barista is required - Latte art skill - Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously - Experience with POS systems, preferably Toast - Understanding of food safety practices and regulations - Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests effectively - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Must be able to lift 35 pounds - Hand use:
single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling - Work requires the following motions:
bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching Job Types:
