Non-Exempt Reports to:
Production Supervisor The purpose of this position is to hang or reroute all merchandise into the appropriate department or bin.
Responsibilities and duties:
Takes garments passed down from the sorter and hangs on the designated rolling rack Uses the appropriate sized hanger based upon the garment type Keeps pace with the sorter to keep the production line flowing smoothly Removes and reroutes any items that do not meet the company quality check standard Ensures the appropriate number of garments are hung on each rolling rack.
Moves the complete rack to the staging area for tagging and pricing Maintains a clean and organized work station Regularly meets the production goals of the position as outlined by the company Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Provides friendly and courteous service in all interactions with customers Required Skills and Abilities Must be able to read, write and communicate with other team members Must demonstrate an attention to detail and keep records as required Good eye-hand coordination to sort, grasp, hang or reroute product Physical Requirements Lifting and carrying 20 lbs.
Reaching overhead 60% of time Pushing and pulling 4-6 lbs.
