Retina Department seeking an experienced Medical Retina Scribe.
Ophthalmology experience is a must.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to our different locations.
Some Saturdays required.
The right candidate will be friendly with a positive attitude, good communicator, and attentive to patient's needs.
They will also be proficient in history taking assessing vision, performing octs testing on Cirrus and Heildelberg.

Salary is commensurate with experience Key tasks include but are not limited to:
- Chief complaints - Perform technical duties under the supervision of healthcare professionals - Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information - Assist with patient care procedures and ensure aseptic techniques are followed - Utilize medical coding systems to document services provided - Making sure Doctor has all medication needed for the day -Training other technicians -Scribe for the Retina doctor -Workup patients -Manage drug inventory - Communicate with the billing department and management team - Complete call backs from patients or referral doctors - Supervise doctor schedule - Travel to 4 locations Preferred skills and experience -Bi-lingual in Spanish/ English highly desirable.
- Experience as Retina technician is preferred - COA certificate preferred or obtained in 12 months of hire date.
- Familiarity with medical office operations and patient care protocols - Knowledge of medical coding systems for accurate documentation - Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team environment This position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.
