Job Description:
Exemplary Guest Service:
Lead and support Go-Kart Team Members in delivering exceptional guest service throughout the entire go-kart experience.
Set clear objectives and provide guidance to track team members, ensuring the attraction is operated safely and seamlessly.
Assist guests with entering and exiting the go-kart course, providing necessary support throughout their visit.
Operations Expertise:
Ensure the smooth operation of the go-kart track, from sales and scheduling to on-track operations.
Assist with scheduling hourly Go-Kart Team Members based on forecasting, adjusting staffing levels as necessary during peak times, holidays, and special events.
Conduct regular inspections of harnesses, safety restraints, and equipment to ensure everything functions properly and address any wear and tear.
Monitor and regulate the number of guests allowed on the track at any given time to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Maintain control of racing events from the central control station, operating computer systems, speed controls, emergency shutdown systems, and signaling systems.
Safely conduct lapping sessions, effectively communicating with drivers using established signals such as flags and signs.
Support other Attractions Department needs and assist with overall business operations as required.
Safety and Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure all safety and compliance standards are met without compromise.
Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with regulations and company policies.
Leadership:
Inspire and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment rooted in teamwork, customer service, and safety.
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, creativity, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Delegate tasks to Team Members, empowering them to take ownership and execute their responsibilities.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Positive attitude and a passion for creating fun experiences.
Must be able to stand and move around for extended periods.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
