Responsibilities:
Engage in activities such as reading, puzzles, card games, Assist with daily light exercises Assist with toileting / daily grooming Prepare meals.
Keep house tidy Let companion dog out and Feed companion dog Required
Qualifications:
A person who loves interacting with elderly.
Communicates effectively in English.
Be physically capable of transfer with use of gait belt.
Be creative with time and engage in activities (i.
e.
No sitting in front of TV all day long) Follow instructions Comfortable with companion dog Preferred
Qualifications:
Individual with knowledge of stroke recovery (including aphasia) a plus.
Enjoys reading stories, listening and singing to music, spending time chatting Current caregiver team loves working with this client and has been with him for over a year.
