We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling, machining, and lean manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Consistently strives to meet established quality standards.
Works to ensure that production meets production standards on a daily basis.
Schedule production personnel Provides direction and training to assigned employees to ensure that they are fully trained for their jobs.
Effectively solves problems on the line to minimize downtime and expedite the work.
Brings employee issues to the attention of the Superintendent.
Request resources such as quality assurance, maintenance and quality control for problem solving and keeping Superintendent informed.
Enforces compliance with all safety rules and regulations taking prompt action concerning any potential safety hazards.
Make recommendations on process or quality improvements.
Moves through the entire facility in a proactive, helpful manner to ensure processes are aligned and functioning at expected levels.
Must be flexible with work schedule, work overtime and weekends as needed.
