Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician specializing in Engine Systems with a Turbocharger focus to join our team.
This role requires a deep technical understanding of heavy-duty engines, particularly the critical role turbochargers play within these systems.
The Quality Technician will collaborate closely with our engineering and sales teams, contribute to technical training, and directly engage with customers to support product installation and troubleshooting.
Key
Responsibilities:
Product Improvement & Technical Content Development:
Collaborate with the in-house engineering team to identify areas for product improvement based on engine expertise and customer feedback.
Assist in the development of technical content, including technical service bulletins and to support customer education on turbochargers and engine systems.
Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
Work alongside the sales team to provide expert assistance to customers during turbocharger installation.
Act as a technical resource, offering troubleshooting guidance and solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product performance.
Technical Training & Customer Engagement:
Serve as a key contributor to our technical training program, Turbo University, by developing and delivering training content.
Conduct technical training sessions for customers and end-users, both virtually and during on-site visits.
Travel occasionally to customer locations to provide hands-on technical training and support.
Qualifications:
High level of technical expertise in heavy-duty engines and turbocharger systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex engine issues.
Experience working with engineering teams on product development and improvement.
Prior experience in engine assembly and disassembly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a variety of audiences.
Previous experience in customer support, technical training, or a similar role is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet customer and training needs.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A degree or certification in a related technical field is preferred.
