Summary:
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for recommending and evaluating new and existing processes and suggesting corrective action.
They will document all processes and results.
FLSA Status:
Non-exempt Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Evaluate and improve production Assembly processes.
? Assist in the development of layouts or floor plans.
? Aid in the implementation of new equipment and parts into existing systems.
? Conduct tests and troubleshoot equipment or processes; solve routine technical problems.
? Responsible for reviewing existing processes and recommending quality oriented process improvements.
? Assist in the preparation and review of technical documents, work instructions and quality control plans.
Education, Skills and
Experience:
? High School diploma or equivalent required; 2 year degree preferred.
? 2
years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Basic knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and Microsoft Office.
? Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills required.
Working Conditions:
? Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
? Ability to reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist.
? Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
? Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
