Job Description:
We are looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel.
Guards are expected to maintain a high visibility presence, patrol the stadium primarily on foot, work at the various entry control points and vehicle access gates, as well as other designated tasks or assignments pertaining to safety and security.
The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.
The following are Positions we are looking to hire:
Day Shift:
Friday- Saturday 06:
00am-2:
30pm Swing Shift:
Friday-Saturday 02:
00pm-10:
30pm Night Shift Thursday-Sunday 10:
00pm-06:
30am -MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS -Weekday and Weekends and special events IE.
Concerts, Football games, etc
Responsibilities:
-Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment -Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances -Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property -Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences -Report in detail any suspicious incidents -Patrol on foot randomly or regularly within the building and perimeter -Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates -Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment Preferred Skills:
-Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position -Ability to operate detecting systems and technology, such as computers programs including but not limited to Excel, I-pads, Google Drive, etc.
for Daily Activity Report purposes -Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols -Surveillance skills and detail orientation -Integrity and professionalism -Good communication skills -Problem solving and capability of being flexible to fluctuating procedures and protocols.
-Standing for extended periods of time; walking and running; climbing stairs Requirements:
1.
You must possess a valid and current California BSIS issued Security Guard Card.
2.
You must have a minimum of one year prior and verifiable security experience prior to employment.
Please provide dates for verifiable security employment.
3.
You must have a valid and current Driver's License, employees may be asked to drive company vehicles and/or golf carts.
4.
You must have the equivalent of a high school diploma or GED or higher.
5.
You must be at least 18 years old.
