Daily Tasks include but are not limited to:
Reviewing physician schedules for insurance information.
Entering patient demographics Contact physician offices to gather missing information.
Confirming eligibility and verifying specific benefit coverage Possess communication skills sufficient to interact with multiple departments and organizational ability to manage workload.
Completes tasks and assignments in a timely manner.
Utilizes time in a constructive manner.
Able to act independently when necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
Strong knowledge of Allergy/Immunology benefits Must possess strong knowledge of Medical Health Insurance Plans including Medicare Maintain high levels of confidential information.
Excellent typing skills.
Excellent grammar and spelling capabilities.
Basic knowledge of billing and collecting process.
Attention to detail & accurate data entry Excellent phone skills and 1-3 years of customer service experience.
Familiarity of medical and insurance terminology.
Proficient in computer applications.
