Check-Mate Manufacturing has openings for Production Tech 2(s) responsible for all aspects in the Inspection of metal forming production, fabrication shop and assembly.
The level 2 Inspector will be required to safely and efficiently execute assigned work in timely manner, meet quality standards and rates.
POSITION
Summary:
Inspects in-process production metal stampings.
Documents actual findings utilizing Check-Mate Manufacturing forms.
Performs visual Inspection of welded components for defects and cosmetic issues.
Maintains work flow with no or minimum interruptions.
Utilizes Micrometers, Calipers, Drop Gages and Dial Indicators.
Utilizes Rockwell Test Equipment and Optical Comparator.
Performs set-up inspections and approval for generic production items.
Responsible for cleanliness and orderliness of work environment.
Promotes team work and willingness to help others.
Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.
Responsible for following established safety procedures.
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, call-outs and overtime Performs assigned tasks consistently and accurately.
