Summary:
A Fleet Assistant will be responsible for managing various aspects of our fleet operations at the corporate level, including auto insurance claims, registration renewals, environmental reports, and driver safety.
This role is crucial in ensuring our fleet is compliant, safe, and operating smoothly.
Essential job functions:
Registration Renewals:
Manage the renewal process for vehicle registrations, ensuring all fleet vehicles are legally compliant.
Environmental Reports:
Prepare and submit environmental reports as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
Driver Safety:
Monitor driver safety programs, work with the safety department on scheduling training sessions, and maintain records of driver performance and incidents.
Accident Reporting:
Manage the accident reporting process, including documentation, investigation, and coordination with insurance companies and relevant authorities Auto Insurance Claims:
Handle all auto insurance claims, including filing, tracking, and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate Vehicle Repairs:
Schedule and oversee vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal vehicle performance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in fleet management, auto insurance, or a related field is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
