Summary:
The Winter Park Health Foundation Communications Director focuses on communications and marketing strategies related to the Foundation's philanthropic community investment and grantmaking work.
The Director also leads communications and marketing strategies leveraged to support WPHF's Center for Health & Wellbeing and its service lines, including brand marketing and mission-focused educational publications and content.
The Communications Director reports to the Senior Director, Community Impact & Engagement, and oversees these efforts by setting objectives, managing budgets, monitoring performance, and assessing and reporting outcomes.
The Director leads a service-oriented team environment that fosters collaboration, transparency, teamwork, flexibility, and creativity; they coach team members to maximize creativity, productivity, and effectiveness.
In supporting WPHF's mission-driven work, this Communications Director position is a unique hybrid opportunity of both non-profit communications and consumer marketing.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Develops, oversees, and assesses integrated strategic communications programs for internal and external audiences, leveraging various modalities and channels to reach different audiences and meet defined impact and growth goals including:
o editorial content creation o digital communications, including email and social media content o print publications o brand management o media relations o consumer marketing campaigns.
Oversees Winter Park Health Foundation's and the Center for Health & Wellbeing's visual identity and branding, ensuring messages and materials are aligned to strategic plans and priorities to ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms and materials.
Develops and evaluates key messages for print, digital, and briefing materials for Foundation leadership and staff.
Leads the conception, planning, marketing, execution, and evaluation of special events.

years of experience in communications, public relations, advertising, journalism, or marketing roles, with demonstrated success in managing marketing and communications initiatives for a non-profit or mission-focused operation.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related liberal arts area of study required.
SALARY RANGE:
