9 Yorba Linda, CA Yorba Linda, CA Part-time Part-time $23 - $24 an hour $23 - $24 an hour The after-school outdoor games and sports instructor will be working in the Strategic Kids Masters of the Field program.
The primary responsibility is to lead organized outdoor games and sports activities with elementary age students.
This position is 15-20 hours per week and is Monday-Friday.
The time range on average is 1:
30 - 5:
30 pm.
If hired you will go through orientation, in field trainings, and attend company events and outings.
Class sizes on average range from 10-20 students at a time.
The instructor will be responsible for carrying and transporting outdoor equipment to each school site is required.
Must be 18 years or older.
Driving is a requirement of this position.
Strategic Kids does provide a daily stipend of $10-20 dollars per trip depending on miles driven.
Required:
-Prior experience working with elementary age children -Outdoor games/sports knowledge is a plus -Must have reliable transportation -Ability to lift and transport equipment -Positive and enthusiastic -Classroom management strategies - Student engagement - Must be 18 years or older Strategic Kids is looking for someone with leadership qualities and confidence in leading quality classes and connecting with the students.
